Kitchen Window Concert

Get a beer from the cornershop and look in!

From 2001 to 2010, I played concerts out of my kitchen window and for the street-audience. Some friends and musicians joined me during the years . There was a cornershop nearby, providing beer and cigarettes for the audience. The kitchen window was somewhat higher than street-level, so it was a perfect stage. To me, this was an urban version of Treplev´s site-sepecific theatre in „the seagull“ by Chechov. If I hadn´t played Treplev as an actor in theatre 10 years ago , I probably wouldn´t have played these concerts. Chechov inspired me, to do it.
