Do You Like Some Coffee

This is a song about the 1990s television series Twin Peaks and Dale Cooper’s passion for coffee. Cooper is one of the series’ main characters, played by Kyle MacLachlan.
The song is also a tribute to film-director David Lynch, who, in addition to his enthusiasm for the dark side, also had a sense of humor, which is particularly evident in Twin Peaks.
For the video clip, we asked friends and relatives to send us coffee selfies from their vacations. Drinking coffee becomes a collective event in the video. Additional footage was shot in southern Sweden.

Vocals & Philicorda organ: Zero Solaris
Guitar & Synthesizer: Graf Tati

Klang Begegnung Boxberg

Klang Begegnung Boxberg/NRW on July 5, 2025, with Zolà x M (ambient pop) and Affi & Iu (No-Fi)

Electronic soundscapes in the resonance chamber of nature. Modular synthesizers and filter effects intertwine with vocals, natural sounds, and the sound of a Philicorda organ. Composed song structures alternate with improvised music and sound experiments. Voices become sound fields. The listeners sit or lie in the grass. The backdrop for the small music stage is the wide valley behind the property, which we look down upon. Klang Begegnung is an open space for the imagination.

STROMSPAZIERGANG

It’s the right time to go out. We’ll experience Cologne in autumn on a walk through the district together. And we’ll hear the familiar places in a new way. Using a receiver that can make electromagnetic fields audible, the flow of electricity from the power boxes, parking meters and street lamps becomes a new soundscape in the city. It’s noise that’s reminiscent of electronic music. If you like that kind of thing or just want to have a new, exciting experience, this is the right place for you. Participants also receive sheets of paper with printed notation systems developed by Hamawaki. During the walk, they can write down what they hear and let their imagination run wild. The walk through Nippes, led by Kanade and Oliver, is a free experiment.

Fous de toi

Summer concert in Boxberg on June 10, 2017

Tobias Schmücking edited a video for my song “Fous De Toi”. He also filmed the concert , where I played the song. „Fous De Toi“ was written in 1988 for my then girlfriend Ila Stuckenberg. Jule Bedorf , my sister, who spoke French a little better than me, translated the lyrics. I composed the music for “Fous De Toi” while jamming with Antonio Fernandez de Medina in 1988. Clémence Bosselut revised the lyrics for the 2017 version. In 2017, I gave a concert for friends and family in Riki and Wolfgang’s spacious garden – with coffee and Swedish cinnamon rolls. Matthias Knopp and Wolfgang Bedorf provided photos for the video. Thanks to you all!
